Have you carried out any work to the vehicle?

The 16 was found derelict in a barn in Bracknell by its previous owner in 1979, who restored it. Its original registration HXF 548 was lost and an age related plate reissued in 1989 when the car passed it MOT.On the first long club run we took it to France and it suffered with just a little trouble of petrol starvation. On the return journey from Rouen we covered approx 250 miles in the day. We must have stopped 20 times and at one point had a French tow truck following us along the motor way – waiting for the car to stop so they could give us an expensive lift off the motorway – we kept going and made it to the ferry with minutes to spare and all the way home (just about). A new petrol pump and fuel line seems to have completely solved the trouble.
